POSITION

BluePoint Engineering (BPE) is seeking a talented individual to join our growing team.  They will be an integral member of the team and will work under close guidance and mentorship. This applicant should possess the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

The candidate must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace. The role will require the individual to work closely with a team of Project Engineers and Project Managers to create detail drawings in AutoCad.

QUALIFICATIONS

The PV Designer candidate must have the following experience and attributes:

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience designing PV systems
• Experience using AutoCad or MicroStation.
• A minimum of a high School Diploma.
• Experience in preparation of physical layout and/or Control design.
• Desire to advance their design skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Strong focus on Quality Control.

• 3D CAD experience (Revit and/or Sketchup preferred).
• Experience with PV-specific design software (PV-SYST, HELIOS3D, etc.).
• NABCEP or similar solar industry certification.
