POSITION

The BluePoint Engineering (BPE) is seeking a talented individual to join our growing team.  They will be an integral member of the team. This applicant should possess the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.

The candidate must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace. The role will require the individual to work closely with a team of Project Engineers and Project Managers

QUALIFICATIONS

The PV Engineer candidate must have the following experience and attributes:

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience designing PV systems.
• BS degree in electrical engineering or related degree
• 2+ years’ experience designing PV systems
• BS degree in electrical engineering or related degree
• Experience in preparation of physical layout and/or Control design.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Have a strong focus on Quality Control.
• Strong desire to advance their engineering and leadership skills.
• Provide field support for engineering and technical questions.
• Ability to provide basic direction to other staff members.
• Support/Collaborate with Substation Engineering team.

Desired Qualifications:

• Registration as an Engineering Intern, or PE licensure
• Experience with PV-specific design software (PV-SYST, HELIOS3D, etc.)
• NABCEP or similar solar industry certification.
