POSITION

The BluePoint Engineering (BPE) is seeking a talented individual to join our growing team.  They will be an integral member of the team and will work under close supervision. This applicant should possess the ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment. In addition, the successful candidate for this position will be expected to keep abreast of emerging technologies.

The candidate must be able to adapt to a continually evolving environment and thrive in an autonomous and deadline-oriented workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Project Engineer I candidate must have the following experience and attributes:

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience designing utility substations.
• BS degree in electrical engineering or related degree
• Some experience in preparation of substation project plans: Physical layout, Protection and Control, procurement/construction specifications.
• Provide field support for engineering and technical questions.
• Ability to provide basic direction to drafters.
• Support Civil Engineering team.

Desired Qualifications:

• EIT certification.
